About me
![]() | After graduating as Licentiate (Masters degree) from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) in 2003, I obtained a scholarship of the IWT that allowed me to work as a PhD student at the Programming Technology Lab of the VUB, headed by prof. Theo D'Hondt. As of June 2007, I finished my PhD and am now working as a post-doctoral researcher at the same institution, funded by a research grant provided by IWT Vlaanderen. The goal of this research grant is to further pursue the use of Intensional Views as a means to support design regularities. In the context of this grant, I also work together with the flemish company inno.com.
If you wish to know more about my research, take a look at this dedicated page. An extensive curriculum vitae can be found here. |
In my spare time I like:
- Playing/listening to music. I play the trumpet in the VUB's symphonic orchestra and the wind ensemble from Gors-Opleeuw.
- Reading. I like the books of Neal Stephenson, Terry Pratchett, Philip Pullman, ...
- Bicycling.
- Travelling.

While we may be located in one of the ugliest buildings on campus, the view from my office can be quite pleasant:
