WHAT?

This course ( Concepts of High-level Programming Languages) is part of the Master of Applied Computers Science curriculum organised by the computer science department of the faculty of applied sciences of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. It is a course organised under the responsibility of Theo D'Hondt.

WHO?

This is an mandatory course for the following sections:
Second year of electrotechnical engineer (informatics) ( 2de jaar Burgerlijk Elektrotechnisch Ingenieur Informatica 4E/IN )
Master of Applied Computers Science( Gediplomeerde in de Gespecialiseerde Studies Toegepaste Informatica)

Tutorials are in ENGLISH.

WHEN?

The course is organised as weekly 2-hour tutorials for a total of 30 hours. The tutorials are scheduled in the first semester.

HOW?

Each tutorial is a lecture covering part of the lecture notes. We will be using the language Pico (see the software section) to support the various aspects of interpretation of computer programs.
